East Godavari to construct over 3000 community sanitary complexes
The coastal district of East Godavari in Andhra Pradesh is constructing over 3000 community sanitary complexes (CSC) to cater to people attending or working in institutions and to those in public places. The move will prevent people from answering nature’s call in the outdoors.
The district administration of Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh is building as many as 1208 community sanitary complexes (CSCs) within the premises of schools, the courthouse, Anganwadi Centres, Mandal Revenue Office (MRO) and Mandal Parishad Development Office (MPDO) to cater to employees of the offices as well as the general public who visit those institutions.
The district administration of Palghar in Maharashtra is constructing new individual household toilets and community toilets to cater to the people who still do not have access to sanitation. At the same time, it is ensuring that people regularly use toilets and practice safe hygiene and sanitation practices.
